It’s not necessarily feasible to possess internet access or use of Facebook while you are on the run. As I was on a holiday it was difficult for me to check on Facebook updates. Facebook lately added the SMS notification function with regard to users residing in India.There are many cellular service provider in India facilitates SMS notification through Facebook.
Activating subscription via text messages or SMS is simple and will take just a minutes.
Here’s how you do it…
Step 1: Click the earth logo beside the search box and click on on “See all notifications”
Step 2:On account settings go to Mobile options and click on “Register for Facebook Text Messages”
Step 3:Choose country as India and choose any system as the actual cellular company. Regrettably additional mobile service provider like airtel, Relaince ,vodafon and so on aren’t listed there. I really hope they will quickly supply Facebook notification service via SMS.
Step 4:
From Your Cell Phone Send “F” to 51SSSS number and you will receive a code on your cell phone. Type that code on the box and click “Next”
And clicking on next button you get started notification on your registered mobile number.
